Historic Coventry Trust is an ambitious and entrepreneurial community-led charity on a mission to restore and reuse Coventry's heritage buildings. We have recently restored and opened major projects within the city such as Drapers' Hall as a music and events venue, Priory Row and Swanswell Gate as holiday accommodation and the Anglican Chapel as a venue for hire.
Charterhouse is a 14th century Priory which opened as a heritage visitor attraction in April 2023. We are now establishing it and the wider Charterhouse Heritage Park, as a 'must see/must be part of' attraction in the city, with Charterhouse open each Thursday to Sunday as well as Bank Holidays, with the popular Purnells’ Café and Bistro at Charterhouse open on the same days.
